I know that many seniors dig urban portraits. But last summer I photographed this 2.5-year-old girl, who was absolutely giddy about having her pictures done city-style. The results were amazing! Needless to say, this year I’ll be shooting people of all ages in downtown Ann Arbor. With my camera, that is. :)
Portrait website updates: I’ve added new images to my Babies + Children portfolio, and even more will be added in the coming weeks. My portfolio images are now almost 40% larger! New HS Senior images will be added very soon, so stay tuned.
Exhibition updates: I just hung 4 new pieces at Kerrytown last week — look for them along the staircase near Kosmo and Hollander’s. (If you keep this blog entry in mind, at least one of those pieces should look rather familiar.)

Hi there- love your stuff!!! I’ve been looking for a place to do urban pics of couples and kiddos- have you found a great place to do this in A2? I live in Dexter and would love to know where that awesome pic is from! :)
Hi Wendy, I’ve found so many fun nooks and crannies in Ann Arbor, Ypsi, and Dexter. After much hiking and hunting, I feel that I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s out there. This particular spot is in downtown Ann Arbor. We may not live in Detroit or Chicago, but there are plenty of graphic (and gritty) textures and colors in our downtown areas.
