Based on my extensive reconnoitering activities over the past several weeks, I can confidently declare that the Burns Park Players are gonna hit yet another home run with their production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying! It’s an amazing show — great musical numbers, dead-on period costumes and sets, an abundance of energy… You know, the usual Burns Park Players stuff. You’ll want to be there! (Having said all that, break a leg.)
This article in Current does a great job of articulating the unique combination of qualities that makes the Burns Park Players so valuable to its members and to the Ann Arbor community more generally — many thanks to Sandor Slomovits. Gosh, we’re so fortunate to have moved into this neighborhood!
Once again, I’ll be posting a selection of my behind-the-scenes photographs in the hallways outside the Tappan auditorium. For now, here’s a sneak peek at some of the kids getting ready for opening night.
