I was invited by the Ann Arbor Summer Festival to attend a media preview of the Amococo installation, which is being featured as part of this year’s Top of the Park. I was going to put these sneak-peek photos on my Facebook page, but unfortunately Facebook’s image compression made these clear and colorful shots look splotchy and blurry. So here we are with a super-quick blog post.
From the Ann Arbor Summer Festival website: “Making its Ann Arbor debut for four days on Palmer Field near Top of the Park, the festival presents the [Architects of Air]’s biggest luminarium, Amococo, a walk-through inflatable sculpture featuring a dazzling maze of winding paths filled with radiant light and color.” Amococo is open to the public starting at 4pm tomorrow (Thursday, June 23); it will be in town until this Sunday at 9pm.
